Our story begins with the creation of a Science-Spirituality-Governance (Head-Heart-Hands) Synthesis at Vishwasanskruti Ashram from 1975 to 2000 AD. Project Sagarmitra was a result of searching for a Common Minimum Head-Heart-Hands Program for Planet Earth - a program which can be introduced and consolidated in 36 years. 2001 to2011 was the brainstorming for designing a high school program, eventually aligned to enter global high school syllabus.

2011 to 2024 was the testing of this behaviour-change ecological-leadership-seeding program, on a test-population of 3,00,000 high school students and their parents who got indirectly involved.

2024 to 2036 is the testing of Sagarmitra and versions of Sagarmitra - Sagar-Sankul; Sagar-Gram; Sagar-Nagari; Pavan-Mitra - at district level pilot projects like Pune District; Davangere District; Sangli District, Nashik District; and is the testing period also for Sagar-Bhakti-Sadhana at Dehu; Alandi; Pandharpur; Kumbh-Mela 2027; and is also the testing period for floating the Internet Portal and Internode to ensure the presence of the Sagarmitra Vishwasanskruti Head-Heart-Hands Training Algorithm as the Universal Reference Paradigm on the entire Internet.

One of the end results aimed for is the inclusion of Sagarmitra Vishwasanskruti Head-Heart-Hands Training Algorithm as the Universal Reference Paradigm into the SYLLABUS of high schools and graduate colleges... and beyond across all the world’s schools and colleges and ALSO in a demonstrated civilizational reforms ‘Think Globally, Act Personally’ behaviour-change-algorithm in the Villages, Towns and Cities of the Krishna River Basin River-Civilization Local-Ecological-Alignment Pilot Project.

Owing to the student’s participation, not just the families, but housing societies, few village gram panchayats, city corporations (Pune, Jalgaon, Sangli, Nashik) are also adopting/exploring the Sagar-Mitra approach and Corporations (Cummins, Umicore, Suzlon, Arcelor) are supporting through their CSR to be a part of this initiative.

We always act with the consciousness that we are embedded inside a team - the human species - which is already hardwired at the intuitive, instinctive, evolutionary, governance and personal-experiential levels to be the team-sub-set which becomes the voice and the healing-arm for the Voiceless Species other than Human Species and for the healing of the Voiceless Natural Cycles which create the web of cyclic and spiral Life-Support - for today and tomorrow.

Within the team-subset-human-species we are largely focused on how the human adults bring up the human children to replace the population of our planet earth with Universally Sensitive Human beings - a change which we study as the change from Maanav to Vishwamaanav; a change which we study as a Natural Evolution from homo-sapiens to Cosmo-Sapiens. The Evolution is creating global leaders in a Head-Heart-Hands Integrated form - it is not the leaders who will bring about this Evolution of Head-Heart-Hands. It is the Evolution that is bringing up the Leaders as the first fruits.

The Balancing-Pulse of the Universe which manifests as the Change-Energy which seeks a Dynamic-Equilibrium of Opposites.

The Global Crisis which seeks to invite us in the form of a Test, an Examination, for which more than enough inputs were provided by World-Teachers of Science-Spirituality-Governance to Humanity to prepare comprehensively for the Crisis. We see the Crisis more as a Global-Alignment Graduation Examination which is Good News as it is forcing us to reach deep into Human Teachings, Natural Instincts and Deep-Seated Intuitions to re-set the Harmony of the Dynamic Equilibrium between Humanity and the Natural Surroundings - that we have disturbed. Without the Global Crisis we would not be digging deep into our civilizational-maturity and environmental-maturity deep-resources and innovative-drawing-boards. The exam is creating the student. We are deeply inspired by the Crisis and its Dynamics and its Dire Warnings via real and anticipated disasters.

We take inspiration from the individual and collective human ability to adapt to increasing domains. The child adapts to the womb, the mother’s embrace, the cradle, the single play room, the multiple rooms home, the external world starting with the play-school, then the increasing exposure to school syllabus from 1st to 10th grade and beyond. The same child also adapts to an increasingly complex navigation through family walking-traffic; gated-society tricycle traffic; town and city road traffic on licenced vehicles; highway high speed driving. The same child also grows to adapt to managing the finances and other resources to take care of a growing family. Our inspiration is this inbuilt and hard-wired human ability to evolve to wider horizons and domains.

We take inspiration from the civilizational quantum-evolutions from small to large domain team-work and governance models. We study examples such as First Swarajya of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj which ended Mughal rule over a Maharashtra wide Domain; Second Swarajya of India making the British withdraw and end colonial rule over a larger India-wide Domain. We take inspiration from how easily the high school students understand the Third Swarajya which is happening now and where they are undergoing the Head-Heart-Hands adaptations needed to make our limited-visions to evolve from National to Global; from territorial-thinking to include Land and Oceans sensitivity.

Evolution is creating and extruding inspiring human leaders who display the ability to initiate and lead Harmony-Projects.

Evolution of body, mind and spirit-energy is creating and extruding (throwing upwards through its complex vortices) inspiring human leaders who display the ability to initiate and lead Head-Heart-HAnds Harmony-Projects. These First-Fruits on the Tree of Evolution, which is supported by its inherent Universal-Equilibrium-Impulse, are our inspiration, in as much as they show the ability to Understand and are Enlightened about sub-domains and silos; Engage with sub-domains and silos and Empower themselves and teams to bring harmony to the sub-domains and silos.

We are inspired by the movement among all the leading such Mentors and Super-Mentors on our planet earth to seek increasingly multi-disciplinary dialogue and best practices sharing to ensure a team-collaboration that heads towards a common minimum programme of individual and collective adaptation. We are inspired by the Leaders and Mentors of Science-Spirituality-Governance who Maintain-The-Status-Quo - and make sure that current Science and Technology work for us; current Religion and Spirituality work for us and current Team-Work from Local to National Administration to current Global Collaborative Governance work for us. We are inspired by the Leaders and Mentors of Science-Spirituality-Governance who Introduce-Evolutionary-Reforms - and make sure that the limitations of current Science and Technology do not harm us or harm the Inner-Outer Environment; and make sure that the limitations of current Religion and Spirituality do not harm us or harm the Inner-Outer Environment; and also make sure that the limitations of our current Team-Work Protocols and Visions and Local to National Team-Work Protocols and Global Collaborative Protocols do not harm us or harm the Inner-Outer Environment.

We are inspired by those who maintain status quo in their respective domains and those who evolve beyond their respective domains in a “Keep Adapting to Domain Plus One” seamless imperative. Most of all we are inspired by the Readiness to Back a Maanav Yuga-Parva to Vishwamaanav Yuga-Parva Transition (homo-sepaiens Era to Cosmo Sapiens Era Transition) in our own colleagues and teachers and students of the first 1000 schools. We are inspired by the Parents of these children who are never ever opposing the Sagarmitra-Pavanmitra protocols and methodologies of harmonizing Head-Heart-Hands of their children to the Global-Cooling Action-Syllabus.

We are inspired by the corporate groups which support us and have supported us in the past: Cummins India Foundation; Umicore Autocat Pvt Ltd and Suzlon Foundation.
